Pars University is a vibrant community of scholarship and learning in the field of art and architecture of Iran, both past and modern, and the world’s as well. Started to work in 2013, Pars is now the first rank institution in Iran. Pars is an independent, coeducational institution that provides undergraduate and graduate instruction in the arts and architecture, archaeology and engineering.

As an Iranian- renowned research university, Pars seeks to achieve the highest levels of distinction in the discovery and transmission of knowledge and understanding. At the same time, Pars is distinctive among the universities in its commitment to undergraduate teaching.

Today, more than 200 professors instruct approximately 5000 undergraduate students and 2000 graduate students.

The necessity of founding Pars University of Architecture and Art

Achieving the goals of the country's comprehensive scientific map in the field of art, architecture and urban planning requires opening new windows of science, art and technology based on the sustainable values of Iranian architecture in order to achieve the model of art and Islamic-Iranian architecture. Undoubtedly, the realization of these goals requires the foundations of structures needed to achieve the conditions that are explained in the comprehensive scientific map of the country. Since the capacity of the country's universities does not provide the conditions for the realization of such demands, it was necessary to invite prominent professors, who believe in such goals in recognizing Islamic-Iranian art, architecture, technology and urban planning, to establish the Pars University of Architecture and Art with a new approach to education in order to achieve the above goals.

Objectives of Pars University of Architecture and Art

• Identification of Iranian architectural methods and techniques in different historical periods
• Presenting new and effective methods in the realization of the model of Islamic Iranian architecture and art
• Enhancing knowledge and strengthening the science in the field of recognizing the sustainable values of Iranian architecture
• Establishment of an Islamic art and architecture training center on a regional scale according to the history of Iran in art and architecture
• Strengthening teaching and research skills in the field of Islamic-Iranian art and architecture
• Providing the necessary background for understanding Iranian art and architecture and its influence on the countries of the region through research and education
• Establishing Iran's focus on art, technology and architecture among Islamic countries with the development of international relations and the participation of regional universities and the United Nations Scientific and Cultural Organization in the form of inter-university programs.

• Provides a wide range of resources for teaching and learning in the form of libraries, laboratories, museums, computing facilities, and so on.

• Admits and supervises graduate students, and examines theses.
• Sets and marks examinations, and awards degrees.
