Pars University of Architecture and Art and "Sapienza Università di Roma" signed an agreement in the field of developing cultural and practical cooperation with the coordination and follow-up of the cultural consultation of the Iranian Embassy in Italy.

According to IRNA (news agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran), this agreement was signed on July 15, 2022, by Professor George Piras, head of the Department of Ancient World Studies of Sapienza Università di Roma, and Professor Mahmood Golabchi, the founder of Pars University of Architecture and Art.

The support of Pars University Higher Education for holding a Farsi language course in the curriculum of the specialized course of the cultural heritage of the Near East, Middle East, and Africa in the Department of Ancient World Studies of "Sapienza Università di Roma" is one of the most important contents of this agreement.

Also, the exchange of professors and students, joint research projects in the field of Iranian cultural heritage, the establishment of conferences and educational workshops to introduce the Persian language and Iranian culture under the programs of specialized courses on the cultural heritage of the Near Easr, Middle East and Africa in the Department of Ancient World Studies of "Sapienza University", providing mutual study opportunities and etc. are among the other contents of this agreement.

Following the agreement between Iran's cultural consultation in Italy and the Department of Ancient World Studies of Sapienza University, regarding cultural consultation support for the holding of a Persian language training course in the curriculum of the specialized course on the cultural heritage of the Near East, the Middle East and Africa in the mentioned department, the opportunity of the fifth round of Iran-Italy Intercultural Dialogue, which was held last March, was used to identify the partner in Iran to support the holding of the mentioned course.

After the identification and selection of the Pars University of Architecture and Art Higher Education Institute for this purpose, the design of the structure of synergy and overlaps in this regard was carried out by cultural consultation, and finally, the aforementioned agreement was signed for its implementation.
